H. Changing the spacing below your chapter heading

The line spacing between your Chapter Heading and the beginning of your text is defaulted to 15pt.

You can change the spacing on an individual basis by the following:

  1. Highlight your Chapter Heading.
  2. Then go to your Page Layout tab.
  3. Next, go to the Paragraph Sub-Section.
  4. In the ‘After’ box, change your line spacing.

Alternatively, you can change the settings within the Heading style itself to make a global change.
