F. Line and Paragraph Spacing

Article Tools

Do not use the Enter Key to create spacing between lines and paragraphs. Instead, the spacing should be created by using the Styles Menu.

We recommend for a better e-reader experience that you use e-indent-with-space and e-no-indent-with-space, as it puts a space (or gap) of  10 pts. between paragraphs. If you’d instead prefer not to have a space between paragraphs (or change the spacing, Here are two techniques if you want to change the spacing:

  • Use one of the custom styles (e-indent-no-space or e-no-indent-no-space) that doesn’t include spacing

  • On the Ribbon, go to the Page Layout tab, and then to the Paragraph Sub-Section and change the Before or After spacing to meet your specific need.
